Shortcuts to losing weight - there aren't any!

I was made aware of Ozempic earlier this year, if you are not familiar, it is a drug that celebrities endorsed and proved it really helps you lose excess body fat. I am not here to argue that it does not work, but my approach and thinking is that there are no easy or quick fixes if someone wants to lose weight.

I like to think my approach and belief is to simply do it the natural way. I am skeptical when it comes to sort of drugs, especially when it comes to improving your physical appearance, hair loss, weight lose, it doesn't matter.

When I quickly googled 'side effects to Ozempic' I got the results I expected, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and constipation. Additionally, after doing some more research, it seems like there could other potential side effects that doctor's are not aware of just yet, since it is relatively new to the market. Sounds a bit too risky to me, and at what cost?

There aren't any secrets or quick fixes to losing weight, this is the harsh reality that for some, is too difficult of a mountain to climb.

This got me thinking, if I did have a 'quick fix' for people, what are the most important bullets I would provide someone who wants to lose weight fast.

Here is my 'quick fix' to losing weight:

  • Absolutely no sugar. However, a lot falls within this one line.

None, not a drop in your morning coffee. No soft drinks. Sounds pretty simple, right?

No refined carbohydrates. Simple carbohydrates turn into sugar.

  • No eating after 8pm.

  • Breakfast foods, if you need to eat in the morning - Fruit and some sort of protein.

  • Don't forget, move your body! Walking, taking the stairs instead of an elevator when you can. Something, anything to move your body. Like what Stanley in 'The Office' did!

Now, if you do this for one week, maybe you'll see some results, but you need to do this for an extended period of time to really see results, depending on your particular goals.
